Our client’s sandschool had been used extensively for many years and the kick boards were failing allowing the sand to spill to the outside. We brought in a small digger appropriately sized for the task and carefully removed the waxed sand from the perimeter taking care not to disturb the base below. Following an inspection of the damaged area around the base of the sandschool, we fixed areas which required some structural intervention and then installed solid timber edging all around. The timber is treated and is FSC certified to ensure that it is sourced from sustainable forests.
Finally we leveled the waxed sand back to the edges of the menage. A swift fix which has given the menage a new lease of life for many years to come.
