As well as competing for grazing, rabbits also pose a great risk to both horses and their riders by digging burrows. A rabbit hole in the wrong place can cause a horse to trip and fall or break its leg meaning an end to its career or worse. For farmers, restricting the movement of rabbits means crops can be protected and the rabbit population controlled.

Having installed several hundred meters of post and rail fence with sheep wire, the next task is to ensure that the rabbits cannot get through.
Since rabbits are determined diggers it is important to bury the close wire netting into the ground. We a trench along the fence and installed the wire mesh fence fastening it to the post and rail with staples. That should keep our long eared friends out of this field.

We fit rabbit fencing to new fences as well as install it on existing fences. Just call.
